Chemical composition of Rosa Geranium essential oil

It contains Citronelol (C₁₀ H₂₀ O) in free or Tiglate (acid tiglic esters)  and Geraniol (C₁₀ H₁₈ O) forms with a little amount of Linalol.

This essential oil also contains Manthol, Borneol, Terpineol, Amilic alcohol and ethylic phenil alcohol. Geranium forms the major compartment of Geraniol.
