Botanical Features
Clove is a small or medium-sized tree with brown foliated bark. The leaves are aromatic, simple, petiolate, ovoid-lanceolate. The flowers are white with 4-5 petals, and the fruits are fleshy, dark pink, and oblong.

What Is Clove Essential Oil?
Clove essential oil is obtained by distillation of the buds and flower stalk of Eugenia Caryophyllata Thunb. This essential oil is produced by adding water and some sodium chloride or using water vapor.
Features of Clove Essential Oil
Clove oil appears as a clear colorless or yellow-colored liquid that darkens in the presence of air.
Storage Method
Clove essential oil should be stored at a temperature below 25 °C, in a closed container, and out of direct light.
This essential oil should not be stored in P.V.C containers since the oil penetrates the P.V.C material, softening and deforming it.
