Physical characteristics
Silverberry Fruit is a deciduous tree or shrub that grows 5 to 7 meters high. It has bright branches that are often dark brown. The leaves are lanceolate or elliptical and covered with silvery scale hairs. The top of the leaves are light greenish-green and silvery. The flowers are solitary, without petals and have tubular sepals. The inside of the flowers is yellow and the outside is silver. The fruits are olive-sized, fleshy, with a thin skin, reddish-orange and the flesh is pea colour-white which tastes slightly sweet with stringent ability.
